In 2022, I had the pleasure of serving as the lighting operator for Richard Ashcroft during several of his festival performances. Working with such a renowned artist was an exciting opportunity that allowed me to contribute to the atmosphere and visual impact of his live shows.

 

For these festival dates, I was responsible for operating and executing the lighting design in real-time, ensuring that the lighting complemented the mood and energy of his performances. Each show required careful attention to detail, as I adapted the lighting to align with the dynamics of the setlist, enhancing the emotional highs and lows of Richard’s music.

 

Working at large festivals meant handling a variety of stage setups and technical environments, which required flexibility and quick problem-solving to ensure the lighting seamlessly integrated with the overall production. Despite the fast-paced nature of festival schedules, I made sure that each performance delivered a visually striking experience that aligned with Richard’s artistic vision.
