I had the opportunity to serve as the in-house Lighting Designer (LD) for the second stage at Brockwell Park, a venue that hosts multiple festivals throughout the year. In this role, I was responsible for designing and managing the lighting for a diverse range of performances across various festivals, each with its own unique lineup, genre, and creative demands.

 

The second stage at Brockwell Park featured a variety of artists and acts, requiring me to adapt the lighting design to suit different musical styles and performance atmospheres. From electronic music and indie rock to live bands and DJs, I ensured that each performance had a tailored lighting experience that enhanced the audience’s engagement and the artist’s stage presence.

 

This position required a high level of technical expertise and creativity, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-event environment. Coordinating with multiple production teams and handling tight turnarounds between acts, I was able to deliver dynamic lighting solutions that consistently elevated the energy and visual impact of each show.
