I am a professional Lighting Designer, Programmer, and Operator based in Oxfordshire, UK, with over a decade of industry experience across touring, festivals, broadcast, theatre, and large-scale live events.

 

My journey into lighting began at just 13 years old while volunteering as a stagehand at The Salon Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola, Spain. It was there that I was first introduced to lighting and sound, and I quickly developed a strong passion for lighting design and live production.

 

After returning to the UK, I formalised my training in backstage production at Abingdon and Witney College, specialising in lighting. Following my studies, I began working with Mission Events as a lighting operator and technician, delivering high-end private and corporate events, including productions at Aynhoe Park. This early experience gave me a strong technical foundation and an understanding of delivering polished results under pressure.

 

Since moving into freelance work in 2016, I have built a diverse career working across arena tours, international broadcasts, headline festival stages with touring productions. Alongside festival work, I’ve programmed and operated for artists including Underworld, While She Sleeps, Michael Kiwanuka, Soul II Soul, Tom Odell, Callum Bowie, and Classic Ibiza, as well as working on large-scale broadcast events such as Boxxer and PFL. My experience also includes international touring, crew chief roles on major UK and EU tours, and delivering lighting for high-profile live events in Saudi Arabia.

 

I specialise in creating lighting designs that are both visually impactful and practical for real-world touring — building scalable, adaptable showfiles and rigs that translate seamlessly between headline shows, support slots, and festival environments. As an advanced ChamSys MagicQ programmer, I combine creative design with strong programming and live operation skills, ensuring that every show is both dynamic and consistently executed.
